Ryan has nearly 15 years of experience in underwriting, risk assessment, and insurance. He began his career as a Homeowners Underwriter with RLI Insurance Company before joining The Ellgren Agency as a Licensed Sales Professional, where he helped individuals, families, and businesses find insurance solutions suited to their needs. His experience in both underwriting and client service gives him a well-rounded perspective that helps clients make informed insurance decisions.
Born in Honolulu and raised in Waianae, Ryan graduated from Punahou School before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California. He is licensed in Property & Casualty insurance in the State of Hawaii.
He and his wife, Danielle, are active in their church and local community and share their home with their Yorkie-Poo, Kona. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, exploring the outdoors, and learning about business, sales, and personal development.
