Prior to joining Pyramid, Tyrone gained experience working as a Security Supervisor for Wilcox Medical Center and with Esaki Surveying and Mapping. Having built his life and family on Kauai, he values the strong relationships and sense of community that make the island special.
Born and raised in Southern California, Tyrone graduated from Highland High School before relocating to Hawaiʻi in 2001. He attended the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa, where he studied Political Science and was recruited to play football for the University of Hawaiʻi Rainbow Warriors.
Through his family’s deep ties to the local community, Tyrone understands the importance of trust, relationships, and taking care of local families and businesses. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, bodyboarding, hunting, and helping at his wife’s family farm in Kapahi on Kauai.
